Karla first started her career in design at Aberdeen Gallowgate College studying Graphic Design and continued her study’s at Robert Gordon University’s Gray’s School of Art, graduating with a First Class Honors. While studying, Karla began working in the design industry at a design agency based in Aberdeen. Starting out as Graphics Assistant and working her way up to Senior Designer and Studio Manager. Whilst working here for seven years Karla saw the birth of their printing sister company and built this up along with the business owners to create a successful printing company.

The valuable experience gained from working in a design agency and print company led Karla to then become Brand Development Manager for a chocolate company and then Whisky company. All the while designing within these companies I also did freelance for clients.

With just under ten years experience, Karla has gained such a vast knowledge within the creative industry and this allows her to fully understand the creative brief and complete the finished designs to a high standard.

With a deep love for design for print, tactile design, stationery, paper and weddings. Karla has combined her true passions and established PaperSkeleton to work closely with you to ensure that your style and creativity can excel on your wedding day.
